Becoming A Better Christian - Find Out What's Stopping You!

You have been saved for some time now, maybe a few years or a couple of days, and you find yourself wondering how to become a better Christian, and this is probably crossing your mind because what you read in the Bible is not what you see in many believers today, or maybe you're tired of living a plain and dull Christian life.
For whatever reason, you're looking to improve your walk with the Lord, and let me tell you; you’re doing the right thing. Sometimes is not what you do what stops you from improving your walk with the Lord, but rather, what you don't do, so today we'll take a look at some of the things that the Lord taught us in order to do his will. If you're reading this article is because you've probably come to the point in your life where you're ready to surrender and make some major changes in your life, so let’s talk about it some more.
In this article, we will be looking at the following:
· How children teach us to be good Christians
· Where are the children that would enter heaven?
· A thankful heart, the key to being a good Christian
· The master law of God
HOW CHILDREN TEACH US TO BECOME BETTER CHRISTIANS
As we all know, our Lord came to show us meekness and humbleness. His words were: “Let the little ones come to me, and do not keep them away: for of such is the kingdom of heaven.” (OF SUCH?) I will tell you a well-kept secret: Most of the sorrows that we go through; most of our relationship problems and even problems at a professional level happen because we don't understand this scripture. We have gone through so much pain in our lives, but yet, we don't understand the mysteries of the Spirit and his purpose for us in this earthly life.
You have cried so many times, and maybe some of you have even tried to end it all. You came to the feet of the Lord because you felt the pressure in your soul, and you couldn't take it anymore. You came searching for truth, but maybe you didn't find it because those who are supposed to teach you have taught you to go the other way.
It's time to take a stand and turn your life around completely. It's time to be born again into that child that the Lord called from the deepest parts of your soul. It's time to get humble and begin to view the world through the eyes of a child.
It's not until we become as children inside that we will begin to live the Kingdom of the Lord here on earth; because the Kingdom of the Lord has descended, and only those who are humble at heart will be able to enter and reach the fruits of the Spirit.
This world is full of people that are full of pride. More than 50% of all marriages end up in divorce because we have not yet understood the mysteries of the kingdom of Heaven. Entire families are being torn apart because we have not yet learned to walk in the Spirit.
Take a look at the children today, and in them, you'll find the solution to all your problems and you will learn to walk upright in the Spirit of the Lord because it's the children who show us the way to salvation and peace. They don't curse; they don't hate, they don't betray, and the list goes on and on. So look at them, come on! Take a good look at them and learn to be a better Christian.
WHERE ARE THE CHILDREN THAT WOULD ENTER HEAVEN?
This world is full of people that are full of pride. More than 50% of all marriages end up in divorce because we have not yet understood the mysteries of the kingdom of Heaven. Entire families are being torn apart because we have not yet learned to walk in the Spirit.
Generations come and generations go, and the story repeats itself. The devil is trying to destroy our entire existence, and he gets away with it when we give him permission into our hearts. He dwells in the hearts of those who are proud inside. He feeds off the egos of those that are not humble and meek.
Maybe you're going through difficult situations at this present time. You might be having problems in your marriage or in your professional relationships. My words are not to put you down, but to bring you to that point where you meet reality. My purpose is to walk you into the correct path, the way that we were taught by the Lord, because one day I searched for it, and I couldn’t find it in the voices of those who were supposed to lead the way.
Take a look at the children today, and in them, you'll find the solution to all your problems and you will learn to walk upright in the Spirit of the Lord because it's the children who show us the way to salvation and peace. WHERE ARE THE CHILDREN THAT WOULD ENTER HEAVEN?
Where are the children that would enter heaven today? Where are those children that taught us the way to salvation and true happiness? We were called to become one of them by the Lord Jesus Christ when he told us that, unless we become like children, we would not enter into the Kingdom of Heaven:
“Verily I say unto you, whosoever shall not receive the kingdom of God as a little child, he shall not enter therein.”
When we become like children, no one will confront us; no one will try to hurt us because we will be covered with the spirit of meekness, and those who try to put us down will be ashamed of their own words and actions.
Some of our leaders today teach us to give our tithes at the end of each month. They teach us to seek for an earthly future where we are to set our goals, but they don’t teach us the reality of what it means to walk in the Spirit of the Lord. They don’t teach us to surrender our lives completely and let God take control.

Either way, I encourage you to try it. Try to live as a child for just one day, and you’ll see that everything around you will change. The world for you will become a different place.
A THANKFUL HEART, THE KEY TO BEING A GOOD CHRISTIAN
“And it came to pass, as he went to Jerusalem that he passed through the midst of Samaria and Galilee. And as he entered into a certain village, there met him ten men that were lepers, which stood afar off: And they lifted up their voices, and said, Jesus, Master, have mercy on us. And when he saw them, he said unto them, go shew yourselves unto the priests. And it came to pass, that, as they went, they were cleansed. And one of them, when he saw that he was healed, turned back, and with a loud voice glorified God, and fell down on his face at his feet, giving him thanks: and he was a Samaritan. And Jesus answering said, were there not ten cleansed? But where are the nine? There are not found that returned to give glory to God, save this stranger. And he said unto him, Arise, go thy way: thy faith hath made thee whole.”
Some years ago, I was working in the sales department of a Toyota dealership in California; I remember that it was very difficult to get customers. We had to work long hours in order to be able to sell enough cars to reach our monthly goals.
Trying to get a customer was an everyday struggle. We had to be on guard all the time or else we lost the opportunity to sell cars and make money. One of my co-workers had been working at that dealership for many years. He was an older man; in his mid-50s.
I remember that he did nothing to get customers. He just sat in a corner with his eyes closed and waited there, but every day people would come looking for him, and almost every day he sold a car. He was one of the top salesmen of that dealership, and I wanted to know what was his secret. I always wondered how he sold so many cars without much effort.
One day, I decided to investigate and figure out what his secret was, so I began to follow his every moves and what I found was very impressive. He used to send thank you cards to all his customers. On Christmas and Thanksgiving, he sent them holiday cards; for their birthdays, he sent them birthday cards, and he also sent emails and call them from time to time, to thank them for having bought a car from him. That was the secret of his success.
All that got me thinking and wondering about the real secret behind his actions, and meditating on that, I came to the realization that his secret was his thankful heart, and he wasn’t even a Christian. I began to search in the Bible and found that this is one of the greatest mysteries hidden in its pages. This is what's behind the master law of God.
THE MASTER LAW OF GOD
THE MASTER LAW OF GOD
It's written all over the Word of God; it's what I call, “The master law.” The law that is hidden in the universe, and in the existence of humanity itself. One day, reading the Bible and meditating about these things, I read a passage that I had read many times before, and I am sure that you have read it many times as well. It’s found in Matthew 22:34-40
“But when the Pharisees had heard that he had put the Sadducees to silence, they were gathered together. Then one of them, which was a lawyer, asked him a question, tempting him, and saying, master, which is the great commandment in the law? Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind. This is the first and great commandment. And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets.”
“On these two commandments, HANG ALL THE LAW AND THE PROPHETS.” When I read the last part of this verse, my spirit began to shake inside. I just couldn’t believe it. It was there all along. The first commandment is to love God more than anything else; the second commandment is to love your neighbor as yourself, and what He said next is one of the greatest mysteries of all.
THE LAW is the rule that has guided every human being that has ever walked over the face of the earth, and THE PROPHETS are the messages hidden in the Word of God, and everything was created by the Word; in other words, the law and the prophets are EVERYTHING. This means that everything depends on the love that you have for your neighbors, but why? Why is it that everything depends on this action? The answer to that question is one of the greatest mysteries that is revealed by the Spirit today.
God created everything according to his own nature, and his nature is something that we cannot understand, but we can see the effects of it. If you pay close attention to his creation (Which was created according to his nature,) you will be able to see something so amazing, you'll begin to see that everything goes around itself.
Everything goes around and around. The earth rotates on its axis, as well as all the celestial bodies. The planets rotate around the sun, and the solar system goes around the Milky Way. Everything rotates and comes back to the same place. The rain falls from the sky, and it goes back to it.
Generations come and go, but not until giving birth to a new generation; the seasons come and go as well, but come back the following year. EVERYTHING RECIPROCATES. If you smoke, you will get cancer and die, there are no two ways about it. If you exercise, you will improve your health; in other words, you reap what you sow; YOU GET WHAT YOU GIVE!
The entire creation (In the physical and spiritual realm) obeys to only ONE THING: The NATURE of its Creator. This is the great mystery as to why, when you love your neighbor, you’ll get that love in return; because love itself is the law, and the law is God.
Therefore, when you have a thankful heart, you will give, and you will get back what you gave, and more. I pray that the Lord is talking to you right now and that this message has opened your eyes to the truth. What happened to the thankful leper? He was the only one that got the blessing of the Lord.
Being a Christian is not about going to church every Sunday morning. You can pray, fast, and give your money to a church, but that doesn’t mean anything if you’re not following the real Gospel of the Lord. People today see us go to church holding a Bible in our hands, but they don’t even get moved by us because they are so used to seeing Christians that don’t practice what they preach.
It's outside the church that we must show what we really are all about, and there are two main qualities that will set us apart from the rest:
· Humbleness
· Thankfulness
