How to Love Yourself in 7 Simple Steps

How to Love Yourself in 7 Simple Steps

Introduction

In this powerful book, you will learn seven important steps to help you heal emotionally so you can learn to love yourself again. But before we even get into the steps, you’ll need to prepare your heart to receive them, so that’s exactly what we’re going to do in the first part of this book. I have prepared each step based on many years of research, which included professional training in the study of human behavior.
We’re going to keep things friendly and simple, so relax and take a deep breath. The first thing I want you to know is that you are part of me because we’ve both gone through many trials and tribulations. I feel your pain. I know what it means to feel rejected and unwanted. But there’s a great love prepared for you. This love is beyond human imagination because it gives it all for you. And this love is found in your heart and no one can take it away from you… No one!
In my research, I learned that people are affected by low self-esteem in different ways. The symptoms could vary. While some of us may be affected by depression, others could develop a hostile attitude. But the solution is always the same: To destroy the root of rejection.
In this book, we will learn to overcome low self-esteem by understanding what’s causing your affliction so you can fight back and allow your heart to heal regardless of what your symptoms are. The following are some of the main symptoms developed by a person suffering from low self-esteem:
·       Sensitivity to criticism
·       Social withdrawal
·       Hostility
·       Excessive preoccupation with personal problems
·       Physical symptoms such as fatigue, insomnia and headaches
Your low self-esteem is the result of your rejected heart. This rejection has led you to develop a self-defense mechanism and fed your ego. Today you protect yourself by not letting anybody hurt you again, but that’s a double-edged sword. With this attitude, you’re only hurting yourself more because if you push people away, how are you going to learn to love them? And if you can’t love others, how in the world are you ever going to learn to love yourself? This is why it’s extremely important that you first kill the ego inside your heart so you can move on, but we’ll talk about that later.

The Key to Hearing God’s Voice

The Key to Hearing God’s Voice

By Willie Estrada

Since the beginning of time, people have experienced the desire to hear from God. Many of us think that His voice is audible and that’s not the case at all, but today we’re going to learn what it takes to hear the voice of the Lord.

As some of you probably already know, I'm a part-time English teacher (As a second language). I have students of all ages, usually teenagers, but yesterday morning I had a group of 20 children (Ages 7 to 10).

Every time I work with children, I try to carefully study their behavior, and I'm always amazed to see how rebellious they are. This clearly indicates that we are born with a sinful nature. If you're a teacher, like me, you'll understand what I'm talking about. It seems as if we are programmed to do everything wrong, and sometimes, we are programmed to do evil things.

Becoming A Better Christian - Find Out What's Stopping You!

Man looking down while water falling on top of him

By Willie Estrada

You have been saved for some time now, maybe a few years or a couple of days, and you find yourself wondering how to become a better Christian, and this is probably crossing your mind because what you read in the Bible is not what you see in many believers today, or maybe you're tired of living a plain and dull Christian life.

For whatever reason, you're looking to improve your walk with the Lord, and let me tell you; you’re doing the right thing. Sometimes is not what you do what stops you from improving your walk with the Lord, but rather, what you don't do, so today we'll take a look at some of the things that the Lord taught us in order to do his will. If you're reading this article is because you've probably come to the point in your life where you're ready to surrender and make some major changes in your life, so let’s talk about it some more.

In this article, we will be looking at the following:

·       How children teach us to be good Christians
·       Where are the children that would enter heaven?
·       A thankful heart, the key to being a good Christian
·       The master law of God

What Does The Bible Say About Women Preachers?

Woman with her face covered

Are you wondering what the Bible says about women preaching? Well, you’re probably asking this question because either you are a woman who feels the desire to preach, or you are a man or woman who's not clear about this matter. This is not an easy question, and probably there will never be an easy answer, or maybe there is? What do you think?

Years ago, when I was in my early 20s and an inexperienced Christian, I began to wonder about this matter. I did a little research on it, and my conclusion was that women were “not allowed” to preach. I'm a Latin man, and I was brought up with the notion that women should always be in a secondary level, and coming from a “Macho men” background, I was satisfied with that conclusion.
At the time, after doing some research, I found out that the Bible teaches us that women cannot preach from a pulpit, but now, don’t get angry at me just yet. I’m just telling you what the Bible says about this issue. Let’s take a look at it says.

What Does God Say About Fear? Find Out Today!

Fearful woman

M
any people wonder what God says about fear, and they should. Fear is one of Satan’s greatest weapons, and he knows how to use it well, but does this mean that we should start to run away from him.

Of course not! In fact, it's our duty to stop him, and I tell you why; because you have no other choice. Either you fight him, or he’ll destroy you and those you love dearly, so it's important that we understand what's written in the Bible.

What about you? Do you feel afraid sometimes? Do you worry about the future, about what's going to happen in your life? If you do, you're not alone. Fear is something that we all experience at some point in our lives.

As we all know, life is not always good to us, and as a result, we are worried that bad things are going to happen to us, or to those we love. In this article, you will find some great information that I know will shed some light on your spiritual understanding today.

Let’s take a look at what God says about fear in the Bible

Satan is using fear to destroy the world today, but he’s also using it against the warriors of God, so he could take control of us on the battlefield. This is why we must pay attention and understand how he uses this weapon against us, so let’s talk about how fear can affect us, preventing us from fighting Satan effectively.

The Bible contains the expression: "Do not fear" more than 360 times, and fear is an enemy that prevents us from living freely. There are two types of fear. The fear of God, which brings wisdom; and the spirit of fear, which brings destruction.

"For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.”

There are things that the devil will try to steal from Christians, to keep them captive. Love, power, and self-control. Why love? Because when people are under a curse imposed by the spirit of fear, they can’t love because fear will always bring insecurity and mistrust, and therefore, the loss of power and self-control.

Fear is an enemy that can destroy entire families, relationships, and even individuals because it prevents us from living according to God’s purpose. Fear also brings envy and destruction. When fear invades the life of a believer, it takes away the power of God, leading to a senseless life.

When you are under the influence of the spirit of fear, you can’t conquer what God has called you to conquer because fear prevents you from living in victory. This is why we have to be extremely careful with what we hear, knowing that the devil’s lies enter through our ears and into our hearts.

"And he arose, and took the young child and his mother, and came into the land of Israel, but when he heard that Archelaus did reign in Judaea in the room of his father Herod, he was afraid to go thither: notwithstanding, being warned of God in a dream, he turned aside into the parts of Galilee"
Matthew 2: 21-22

Fear enters your life when you hear terrible news, or hear a negative conversation that somehow will affect your life. This is because our hearing is one of the channels directly to our souls, and the spirit of fear is nothing but a lie that the devil wants us to believe (When we hear it.)

Some people have fear of failure, and this is probably the most common experience that fear brings to our lives. Today there are many people committing suicide because of the economy; because they were in a great social position at a certain point in their lives, and can’t accept losing it all.

Feeling fear in a dangerous situation is normal, but being tied to fear prevents us from living a normal life. Fear can make a person unable to face life, and this in itself becomes a curse. This curse can prevent us from winning spiritual battles and reach our goals in life.

“For the thing which I greatly feared is come upon me, and that which I was afraid of is come unto me”

Fear is like a magnet that attracts all the bad things into your life, and it can keep you talking in a negative way, hindering your spiritual strength, so you can’t fight Satan effectively, but in order to confront fear, you must fully trust God.

"The LORD is thy keeper: the LORD is thy shade upon thy right hand."
Related: How To Pray When Under Spiritual Attack

It’s It’s important to understand that no one can get rid of fear, only God can; therefore, it’s through spiritual warfare and prayer that we will be set free from this curse. Let’s not forget that everything is under the dominion of God.

He’s in control of all things, visible and invisible. Another important thing that you’ll need to understand is that, in order to be free from fear, you must first face it and rebuke it with the Word of God. Do you think that David was not afraid of the giant? Of course he was; however, he never called him, "Giant."

He called him "Uncircumcised!" Meaning that he had no covenant with God, so what can we be worried about? God has not called us to fear man, nor evil spirits. He has called us to fear only Him.

“I, even I, am he that comforteth you: who art thou, that thou shouldest be afraid of a man that shall die, and of the son of man which shall be made as grass”

Remember to always have the Word of God ready in your mouth to overcome fear and empower your life because it has the backing of God, and you can trust Him completely.

The devil will try to steal your peace, so you would forget the power of the Lord, but through perseverance you will conquer. Fear is Satan’s greatest weapon, and he is using it against you, so you cannot fight him effectively. Today more than ever before, Satan is attacking the entire world with the spirit of fear, and this is bringing entire societies and nations to the edge of “spiritual destruction.”

A boy in fear of terrorism

How does Satan use fear and terror against humanity?

After the recent attacks in France, the spirit of fear has entered the minds of people throughout Europe, and many parts of the world. The uncertainty of not knowing where the next attack will be captivates the minds of thousands of people living in countries affected by terrorism. When the attacks on 9/11 took place in New York City, I wasn’t a strong Christian, so I had a tremendous sense of fear in my heart. I was living in Freeport, NY, at the time. I was so close that I could even see the great clouds of dust from a distance; that’s how close I was from terror.

Check out all books
Icouldn’t believe my eyes. I was there at the World Trade Center just a few months before 9/11, and the thought that it could’ve been me haunted me for a few days. I’m sure that seeing those people jumping from the top floors to a certain death, is something that’s still so vivid in the minds of those who were there that day. It took years for New Yorkers to gain back their confidence, and although they’re tough people, I know that deep inside, they felt a tremendous terror that haunted them for a long time. I’m sure that the French people are also feeling terrorized in their hearts, especially those who were present the day of the attack on Paris.

Related: The Key to Hearing God’s Voice?

When we talk about terrorism, we can clearly see the hand of Satan behind it, as he is the master of inflicting fear into the hearts of people, but this isn’t something new. Satan used terror and fear right from the very beginning, and it was because of this fear that mankind fell into his trap, and now we are paying the consequences. There is something greater hiding behind fear, and you should be aware of it in order to have an effective fight against Satan and his demonic forces.

Adam and Eve at the Garden of Eden

What does Bible say about the first time that fear entered mankind?

“And the eyes of them both were opened, and they knew that they were naked, and they sewed fig leaves together and made themselves aprons. And they heard the voice of the LORD God walking in the garden in the cool of the day: and Adam and his wife hid themselves from the presence of the LORD God amongst the trees of the garden. And the LORD God called unto Adam, and said unto him, where art thou? And he said, I heard thy voice in the garden, AND I WAS AFRAID because I was naked; and I hid myself.”

“Adam was AFRAID?” This is the very first time that the spirit of fear was manifested in the heart of mankind, before that, fear didn’t even exist anywhere in God’s creation, but the big question is: What causes the spirit of fear to enter into the heart of mankind? Well, I’ll tell you a secret: There are two main factors needed in order for the spirit of fear to come to action and enter your heart. Let’s take a look at the first factor:

“And the serpent said unto the woman, ye shall not surely die: For God doth know that in the day ye eat thereof, then your eyes shall be opened, and ye shall be as gods, knowing good and evil.”

The first factor needed in order for the spirit of fear to come into existence in men’s hearts is the deception of Satan. This is exactly what terrorists use to inflict fear into the hearts of those that they are trying to target. They understand that by deceiving the people, they will gain control of their minds and their actions. Now, let’s take a look at the second factor needed in order for the spirit of fear to become a reality in our hearts and minds.

“And when the woman saw that the tree was good for food, and that it was pleasant to the eyes, and a tree to be desired to make one wise, she took of the fruit thereof, and did eat, and gave also unto her husband with her; and he did eat.”

As we can see, the woman had to believe the deception of Satan in order to act, in other words, she received the deception in her heart, and she believed it. As a result, she DISOBEYED, so the second factor needed in order for the spirit of fear to enter our hearts is the DISOBEDIENCE. On that terrible day of September 11, I was not walking right with the Lord, and I was in disobedience, and therefore, I felt fear in my heart; a fear that was inflicted by terrorism.

Related: Why Should Christians Be Concerned About Terrorism?

When you walk in obedience, you’re walking in the truth, and the truth is the light that shines through the darkness of this world. Remember that the deception that Satan uses against us is the darkness, and fear is the result of that deception. The people of this world are walking in disobedience, and therefore, they are terrorized by the fear that’s inflicted upon them, but if you’re walking in obedience, you have nothing to fear… Right? Let’s see what the Lord has to say about that:

“His disciples say unto him, Master, the Jews of late sought TO STONE THEE; and goest thou thither again? Jesus answered, Are there not twelve hours in the day? IF ANY MAN WALK IN THE DAY, he stumbleth not, BECAUSE HE SEETH THE LIGHT OF THIS WORLD. But if a man walks in the night, HE STUMBLETH, BECAUSE THERE IS NO LIGHT IN HIM.

There was a clear threat against the life of Jesus, but he wasn’t deterred by it. He was walking in daylight, which means that he was walking in obedience, and therefore, he had nothing to fear. When exposed to the light of the truth, the spirit of fear doesn’t exist. If you walk in darkness, there’s no light in you, and the spirit of fear will predominate in your heart.

So now you know what God says about fear, and  In this article, you read some of the main Bible verses about this topic. I’m sure that there are more, but reading them would not do us any good unless we do something about it, so if you're going to enter the fight against fear, you’ll need to get right with God and be obedient to his Word, or else you will stumble and fall. Before stepping into the battlefield, you’ll need to be walking in the light, and the spirit of fear will not enter your mind, but it's all up to you... What are you going to do about it?

There Is Power In The Blood Of Jesus - Do You Have It In You?

A nail on a cross

WHY IS THERE POWER IN THE BLOOD OF JESUS CHRIST?

To understand the power of the blood of Jesus, our Lord and Saviour, we need to understand what's behind the blood of Christ. If you stop and think about it for a second, the blood represents the sacrifice that Jesus made at the cross. As we all know, the purpose of his coming and his death was to give us salvation. He gave his life on the cross so we wouldn't have to suffer eternal condemnation.

“In Him, we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of our trespasses, according to the riches of His grace”  Ephesians 1:7

Maybe this is something that you already know, but the question is, what does this mean for you? His sacrifice (His blood) gave you SALVATION and eternal life, but while you’re on this earth, His death at the cross empowers you, so you can fight and defend yourself against the attacks of Satan. When Jesus died and gave his life, He defeated the devil once and for all.

And take the helmet of SALVATION, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God: Ephesians 6:17
There's power in His blood because his sacrifice is your salvation, and this salvation is the helmet that protects you. Now you have that power in your hands, and Satan can no longer touch you because you are covered with the precious blood of Jesus, and his blood is a reminder to Satan; a reminder of his own death. Nevertheless, the biggest misconception is that people think that by being saved, they will be protected from the attacks of Satan.

Types of Demons and What They Do To Humanity

statue of a demon

Since the age of 12, I have experienced demonic oppression in my family, and I have witnessed many spiritual possessions in my own mother and in other people, and I must tell you that there are many types of demonic forces organized as an army, and what they do to humanity is not pretty.

As Christians, we need to understand all these things because it's our duty to fight against the enemy. Satan is here to attack and destroy your family. He's here to destroy your territory and your nation, and sooner or later, you will feel the consequences of his attacks. If you are a Christian and are not fighting against the devil, you are simply not doing your job, and as a result, precious souls are being lost every single day.

Where Is Your Heart Today?

A person making a heart sign with both hands

“Lay not up for yourselves treasures upon earth, where moth and rust doth corrupt, and where thieves break through and steal: But lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust doth corrupt, and where thieves do not break through nor steal: For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also.”

These are powerful words of truth that we rather not hear about. I am fully aware that I might lose some readers right from the get-go because I’m touching “the dough,” but I will speak as the Spirit leads. For those of you that might be reading in the UK, Australia, or other parts of the world, in America: “the dough” is a slang for: “The money.”

As we know, the Bible is very clear about this in Timothy 6:10, when it says that money is the root of all evil. Does that mean that we are going to go out running to the bank and burn all the money that we have? Of course not! There is nothing wrong with money, just like there is nothing wrong with you holding a gun in your hands. The problem is what you do with it.

In the United States, there is a popular saying that goes like this: “What Would Jesus Do?” I don’t know if this phrase is used in other parts of the world, but it was so popular in the States back in the 80s and 90s that there are souvenirs with the acronyms, “WWJD.” Which obviously stands for, “What Would Jesus Do?”

Related: What Does God Say About Fear? Find Out Today!

This phrase is used when we are faced with a difficult decision, and we don’t know what to do, so we ask ourselves that question (What would Jesus do if he was here?) We meditate on that, and usually, the answer should be that path we should take to make the correct decision.

I don’t care much for those types of phrases that come out from time to time, but meditating on this phrase, I began to wonder if we could apply it to the question of how we, as Christians, should view money, or to be more specific, how our hearts feel about our belongings and treasures. So the big question is, what would Jesus do with the money if he was you?

What Does It Mean To Deny Yourself? - Learning to Walk In the Spirit

Man praying

“And he said to them all, if any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross daily, and follow me. For whosoever will save his life shall lose it: but whosoever will lose his life for my sake, the same shall save it. For what is a man advantaged, if he gain the whole world, and lose himself, or be cast away?”

The Power Of God's Word - Can Anything Stop It?

Group of people

By Wilbert Estrada

Every Christian knows that there’s power in God's Word, but if this is the case, why are many Christians still struggling in their walk with God? It feels as if sometimes we pray and pray, but we don’t receive the blessings of the Lord.

It's almost as if God is not listening to us, and this is  because we might be praying without the understanding of the Spirit, but today you will learn what's stopping the blessing from coming to your life, and what's behind the power of His Word, so you can become more effective in your prayer life. In this article, we will be looking at the following:

·        The power of the Truth
·        Satan, the father of all lies
·        The power of faith
·        What can stop the power of God's Word?

...but first, let's look at the following verse:

“In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. The same was in the beginning with God. All things were made by him, and without him was not anything made that was made. In him was life; and the life was the light of men. And the light shineth in darkness, and the darkness comprehended it not.”

“In him (The WORD) was life, and the life was the LIGHT”

Many times when we pray, we say, "In the name of Jesus," and we don’t even understand why we say that. Why did the Lord teach us to pray in his name? There's a reason for that, don't you think?. When the demons saw him coming, they couldn’t stand even seeing him; they begged him to cast them out because the Light was shining on them. The Truth (What's supposed to be) was present, and they knew that they had to leave because, in reality, THEY DO NOT EXIST.

Subscribe

The deceiving power of Satan collapses when it’s exposed to the light because the light is the Truth and the life; the light is the real existence, and its true essence is the Word of God. When you say, "In the name of Jesus," you're actually saying, "In the name of the Truth." Immediately, the Truth (What's supposed to be) comes into existence. This is why when He said, “Lazarus, come forth,” Lazarus came out.

Are curses real? Find out what the Bible says about it today

People hiding behind trees

Many people wonder if curses are real, and the fact of the matter is that the Bible talks about curses, so as Christians, we should be aware of them. We know that all curses from the past are broken once we accept Christ in our hearts, but if we're still walking in disobedience, the devil will try to attack us, so we need to stay focused.

In this article, we will learn how we can become exposed to a curse and to evil influences. We will also learn how to fight in the Spirit and get delivered, so we can continue the work of the Lord, and find freedom today.

Most believers know that the sins of Adam and Eve, in the Garden of Eden, brought misfortune on humanity and the world in which they lived, but we don't understand how that happened. The Lord pronounced specific consequences to the serpent, the woman and man as a result of their disobedience:

... ...
